Roman Haas is characterized by a wide variety of interests. He enjoys a successful teaching career. In 2006, he was a finalist in the 13th Golden Ámos competition, which selects the best teacher in the Czech Republic. He is able to run the whole age gamut, from 6 to 99, communicating with joy and understanding feared musical theory and the whole world of music to children and youngsters of varying musical talent as well as to eager-to-learn adults.
